“Mercedes-Benz presents MiiN by Kadir Kılıç”
The 14th season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul will take place on October 8-11, 2019 at Zorlu Performance Arts Center.

Mercedes-Benz has supported over 60 fashion platforms worldwide for over 24 years, and similar to all the fashion weeks sponsored globally, the brand continues the tradition of presenting the runway show of a designer since the first season of the event in Istanbul.
In the new season of this project, which has continued for six straight years, Mercedes-Benz Türk will support Kadir Kılıç, the young and talented Turkish designer who has created great buzz in local and international fairs in the recent years with his unique design language and his brand MiiN, with the “Mercedes-Benz presents MiiN by Kadir Kılıç” runway show of his Spring/Summer 2020 collection.
Mercedes-Benz Türk’s collaboration with MiiN by Kadir Kılıç is not limited by the runway presentation. Kadir Kılıç interpreted A-Class Sedan, which Mercedes-Benz is promoting this season during the fashion week, with his design language to create a compelling design that reflects the designer’s collections. The new A-Class Sedan, with the signature of MiiN by Kadir Kılıç, will be showcased throughout the fashion week at Zorlu PSM.
With respect to the “Mercedes-Benz Presents MiiN by Kadir Kılıç” runway show set to take place on Thursday, October 10 at 8.30 pm at Zorlu PSM, designer Kadir Kılıç said, “Mercedes-Benz’s support of the Turkish fashion world is of course very important. Collaborating with Mercedes-Benz this season, which gives our industry a means to act collectively, will lead to a new synergy for us. Having brands that support our fashion week also motivates us as designers,” highlighting the importance of Mercedes-Benz Türk’s support.

Kadir Kılıç focuses on fundamental concepts by playing with tones and colors, textures, prints, light, composition and perspectives in each collection. For his Spring/Summer 2020 collection, Kadir Kılıç draws inspiration from the portrayal of heaven and meaningful connections with nature’s wonderful fruits. His signature black and white contrasts are enriched with a color palette of baby blue and baby pink, lilac, and mint. The Spring/Summer 2020 collection, which also includes tile blue, yellow and neon greens, is the most colorful collection of MiiN to date, this time distinguished with Ottoman calligraphy and tile details, and prints inspired by ecological details.
MiiN, the name of the Istanbul based apparel brand founded in 2014, means “beauty” in Korean and “who” in Arabic. Since its launch, MiiN has been exporting to mainly the Middle East (Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE) and Eastern Europe (Croatia, Serbia). MiiN, which opened its first store in February 2016 at Emaar Square Mall, combines ergonomics and comfort with fashion in unique and memorable designs that transcend trends.
